“Seeding the future”: German Pavilion at International Horticultural Exposition 2019 in Beijing

On April 29, the International Horticultural Expo 2019 opened in Yanqing district, in the northwest of Beijing. The world’s largest horticultural exposition “Live Green, Live Better” will run until October 7, 2019 and demonstrates on 960 ha exhibits related to horticulture and sustainable technologies from different regions of China and 86 nations. Germany is represented with the theme of ”Seeding the future” in the German Pavilion which was officially opened by the Parliamentary State Secretary Hans-Joachim Fuchtel on April 29. On May 13, on the occasion of the German National Day, Federal Minister of Agriculture Ms. Julia Klöckner visited the German Pavilion. DCZ Managing Director Dr. Jürgen Ritter attended the evening reception hosted by Minister Klöckner at the Pavilion.
